journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles. – Tim Cahill
I am really running outta words for this post.. It’s going to be quite lengthy
25th Sep. 2k14 ,
A bright and shiny day , Many boys from college were waiting for this day – Our 5 day trip to Bangalore & Mysore. ( yey, just boys .. that’s enough for you to understand that I am in Mechanical Department 😅 )
Soon we were all aboard on train. I got a seat in a compartment with Mohsin ( My Best Friend ) & Sanam ( Most Boring boy, who looks like uncle.. but have sweet nature ). Me & Mohsin were not feeling great to share a compartment with him , So we spend our most of time in in Raviraj‘s ( Another Bestie of mine ) compartment watching them playing cards , I learned a few card games that time !
We spend the whole night in train playing Antakshari , waking up those who are fallen asleep , searching empty electric board for charging phones.
Next day morning , As train enters the Bangalore .. I was amazed by it’s similarity with Pune ( except the language & Police’ Uniform )
Bus hired by college was already waiting for us outside the station. It drove us to a luxurious hotel. I heard someone saying “It’s worth paying the fees”.
Next day , after having a delicious breakfast in hotel , we went to see Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum . Time flew faster as we keep exploring the various galleries there. I was like kid in a candy shop , wanted to try them all .. But we had schedule to follow, So we return back to hotel.
That night some of us sneak out of hotel , on streets of Bangalore.. It was period of Navratri Festival , so there was some Orchestra playing some devotional songs ( may be ) & We laughed a bit on their tone which was unusual for us.
Next Day,
It was time to visit,
Bannerghatta Biological Park . We take Safari ride through park ( jungle , a actual one ) . Really a nice experience seeing wild animals living at their home (forest) not in cages.
( White Tiger at Banergatta National Park )
28th Sep. went in traveling to Mysore. But the traveling was also a fun when you have got your friends with you !!
Next day , We visited Maharaja Palace, Mysore.
Amazing craftsmanship was reflecting through every single thing there , from paintings to the roof.
In addition to this , We also visited Brindavan Gardens in Mysore .
Brindavan Garden have lots of variety of fountains , It looks great at night with lighting effects on them.
After all these days , Everyone who had came to this trip had become friends & those who were already friends have become close friends by then !
Even after returning back to Pune , everyone was still lost in those 5 days ..
It’s my favorite trip yet ! Not just because visited some awesome places , But also because I visited those with some of my best buddies .
